Gabi Trudel

Gabi Trudel is a dancer, choreographer, actor and model born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a talented artist who has performed on multiple stages. Most recently, she performed in the opening number for Canada’s Walk of Fame 25th Anniversary show as a tribute for Kardinal Offishall’s induction and has also been cast in two exciting new tv series. As an actor some of Gabi’s most notable credits include being cast in productions airing on networks such as Netflix, Disney+, Lifetime and Prime Video. She has also been fortunate to walk the runway for designers in New York Fashion week, Fashion Art Toronto, St. John’s Fashion week and many others. Gabi is currently a student in her final year at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson) in their BFA Performance Dance program.

Gabi’s diversity as an artist has allowed her to win numerous awards as a dancer, choreographer and actor. She has also been awarded a Nova Scotia Talent Trust Robert George Jackson Award, a Joey Award for Best Young Actress in a Recurring Role on a TV Series and a nomination for a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a TV Series. More recently, Gabi has become a sought-after choreographer and has been hired to create pieces for live shows and dance studios across Canada. Some of her professional works include Votive Dance Company shows, ProArteDanza’s SIP Showcase, TMU RISE Fall Dances, FUSION Production shows and others. Gabi has been fortunate to train with world renowned dance faculty and hopes to continue training and expanding her knowledge to share with and inspire the next generation of artists.

Gabi believes that hard work, dedication and believing in yourself is the key to succeeding in whatever you choose to do.
